I got a load of 50mm i.d. tubes free from a removal company. They are 52cm long with a 10mm thick wall, perfect for mortars, if a little long. A lick of varnish and they'll last a long time. They originally come with shrink wrap film on them and the removal guys get through that stuff like crazy. You shouldn't have any trouble getting hold of some for nothing.

Another thought is the luggage wrap station, if you have a nearby airport!
