titaniun spounge 40-80 mesh 7

No, you don't need any boric acid. There's nothing in there that would react with the wet nitrate.

But be informed that isn't really a 'gold' formula. It more closely resembles Kimbrough's 'twinklers' or FSFOYH stars.... LOTS of long-hanging gold charcoal tail, but also LOTS of pretty-long-hanging silver titanium sparks. (his has Mg/Al, but also coarse particle size).

Eliminate the Ti, and up the charcoal, and you'd have the essence of a long-hanging gold spiderweb.
