So, how much per kilo does one have to 'stump' up to 'remove' some from your stock? :-D

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Forum members tend to get it from myself, you also see it now and again on eBay, depending on where you are based there are other suppliers I can point you to.

I buy 'high-purity Hydroponic grade" KNO3 from my local hydroponic supplier. It's about HALF the price of 'chemical house' stuff, and comes with an analysis document.

It's crystalline -- about the particle size of coarse table sugar, so does require milling. But, then, almost all my KNO3-oxidized formulae require milling, anyway, so it's not much an issue.

Thanks, Lloyd, a check on the OP shows he is in the USA so you may be able to point him in the right direction.

Ken,
It's available nearly anywhere hydroponic supplies are sold. If you can shop a distributor in an area where lots of hydroponic commercial farming is done, it's quite inexpensive.

If I were locating a source now in my area, I'd probably just look up "commerical fernery supplies", since many floral ferns are grown (around here) hydroponically.

DO beware the small hydroponics businesses catering to home hobbyists. They're quite-often more expensive than even pyrotechnic suppliers.
