A couple of people have over the last few months have contacted me saying they are experiencing jar slip on their mill, the reason for this is basically due to contamination from BP on the rollers and the jar, I know it is tempting to open the jar and admire the contents but you have just released a fine mist of BP that is air float and will be attracted to the rollers and drum and this will cause jar slip! The answer is simple load the jar leave the mill to do its work, remove the jar away from the mill and remove the contents clean the jar your ready now for your next load.
The jar and rollers are best cleaned with washing up liquid (neat) and left to dry this give a slight tack to the rollers.
So basically Keep it clean.
Keep it clean
