I had the horror of hearing the media being loaded into jars yesterday echoing threw my head on my ear bud while on the phone with Caleb. I am glad they seem to be doing pretty well for you both.

Speaking of mills, I do have a possible side project involving grinding down some rock ore. I think I have a lengrth of 6" steel pipe, all I lack is some suitable media. Has anyone worked with rod mills? The only affordable steel I can get easily hold of is rebar, the ribs could produce some interesting effects.

Ken, I haven’t done anything special. I figure we’re all here to try to learn and/or help each other out where we can. It’s my pleasure just trying to do my part.

I’m no scholar, chemist, or anything for that matter well enough to hold a tittle. I’ve dabbled in many things threw out life and try to work with what knowledge I have. If I can help out where I can or make an introduction or two all the better.

I have put around 200hrs on the jar to date and it is holding up very well, end caps are fine no wear on the internal, outside has smoothed over a little but that’s a bonus nice job BP
