Very sad news that a friend and true gentleman Colin Muscat passed away today after an accident in a factory in Malta yesterday. His fiancee is still being treated in
Hospital along with one other.
Thinking of you.

Man! I hate that. I've never lost a close personal friend to a fireworks accident, but I've lost a couple I knew, personally.
It's never easy. It makes one VERY aware of one's mortality -- most especially in this business!
My best wishes and condolences to them.

Re: Sad news
Colin Muscat passed away after suffering 90% burns in the accident.
The explosion had occurred at about 3.15 p.m. on Saturday.
The fireworks factory is situated in the limits of Salini, and is owned by the Ghaqda Piroteknika 11 ta’ Frar of San Gwann. The factory manufactures fireworks for the San Gwann feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Also injured in the accident were Clint Grima of Dingli, who sustained grievous injuries, and Shirona D’Anastasi of Mosta.
Shirona D’Anastasi is the partner of Colin Muscat, and was also admitted to hospital. Shirona was at Colin Muscat’s bedside in his last moments and when he passed away.
RIP Colin you will be missed
