Boron Carbide Green
Now I seem to have developed a knack for obtaining experimental samples and looks like I will be coming into some Boron Carbide for what it's worth. It's not something I'd normally be fussed with but I hate to turn down a freebie. Has anyone ever tried it ?
Re: Boron Carbide Green
Boron produces a shabby green, Sam, and the carbide has a VERY high decomposition temperature, so it does not yield up its boron easily.
I believe you will be disappointed.

One of the best greens I ever made was the Veline green it was awesome but I could not figure out why the stars burned to the ground it was then I noticed the Magnalum was still on the scales
Re: Boron Carbide Green
Perfect as rising tails for shells then?

Re: Boron Carbide Green

Very technical, Sam! What's that modern expression, 'keepin' it real'?
