Big shell

Post by Pyro-Gear »

This is the biggest shell ever fired outside Japan. It was built and fired by the Mount Carmel fireworks factory in Zurrieq, Malta in 2015. This shell is completely hand built by Brian and Jesmond D'Amato from scratch. Awesome guys!

Not that great of symmetry on the first petal, though. The middle and outer petals seemed nicely symmetrical, but the inner one (well, sorry) really sucked!

Of course, it WAS the first shell of this size made there, so they have some work to do!

Not bad for a construction worker and an IT guy and a bunch of chicken feed sacks.

How I wish to one day be able to see one of those BIG ones live! It has to be a feeling like no one else!
