Home Made Tubes

Post by bullstreetboy »

Guys

A cheap source of tube material and very recyclable friendly!

Tesco's home delivery bags - the brown ones for holding veg.

They make very strong 1/4 lb (5") rocket tubes and Gerb tubes. No need for wood hardener treatment at all. On retrieving the spent 1/2" core burner rockets, the burn through is negligible.

I roll mine on a 1/2" rod - ally or wood, until the exterior diameter measure 3/4". 6" long and then cut on a band saw to 5" to allow for hand rolling drift.
