I have a rather large amount of ½ X 2 ½ tubes that needed to be put to some use, so I turned up a simple end burner tooling set on the lathe Thursday, I ran a test in daylight against a very blue sky the reason for this was I wanted to see the smoke trail and not a little red dot as you would at night.
Using the Estes 302232 Alti Trak Altitude Finder I was surprised the rocket hit 825 feet, BP was straight 75/15/10 milled for 6hrs.
I will be making a few sets next week so if you want one let me know, and oh they are very silent in operation after 100 feet or so.
